THE DIRT
Smokin’ Joe’s, a family business in every sense of the word. Not exactly a ground breaking idea, selling motorbikes, but we had to go through some serious sh*t to get here. We’re determined to do things differently, we treat folk with respect and decency, we’re polite, welcome questions and go above and beyond from start to finish.
The Smokin’ Joe’s name ? The first bike we purchased for the business was a Honda VTR Smokin’ Joe’s, our little lads middle name is Joe and he’s named after his great grandad, my Grandad, the original Joe. It was meant to be.
Who are we ? There’s me, Matt, my wife Katie and the youngest kids, Alfie, Gibson and Ella (the oldest two have both flown the nest), yep, we’ve got five in total. Alongside us lot, there’s my Dad, Denis and Katie’s Mum and Dad, Steve and Penny. We all do our bit in one way or another, without any of these people Smokin’ Joe’s wouldn’t exist.
That’s it, in a nutshell, the long version’s a load of bollocks, we’ll tell you if you ask.

Dreams of building a chopper at 14 never happened. Worked for Honda at two IOM TT’s. Rides like a trainspotter.

Matt’s better half, a fast little bugger. Takes the photos, does the social crap. She doesn’t ride like a trainspotter.

Bit of a Harry Potter our Alfie, a brave, devoted lad. Alfie spots our cock up’s and he’s always bloody right.
gibson
Our own Hells Angel, our little rock star, a comedian that never shuts up or sits still. Loves motorbikes and crap music.
ella
The latest member of the family. Named after Fitzgerald, she’s a jazz baby that’s already getting a bit cheeky.
